Description
The final project for my graphics class.
We had to take a photo of ourselves or someone we knew (so no internet photos at all) and transform them into a robotic being.
I can not say how many false starts I had on this piece. I thought I'd have what I wanted to do and then BAM it was all wrong. I HATED this piece so much.
But once I finally got working on it everything fell into place.
This is my friend Mongoose as a mettle man.
Its actually got 3 layers to it. The bottom most layer would be the circuits on the left side of the face. The next would be the brushed mettle layer that covers his nose, lips, and neck. And finally the "skin". I used our Zombie Wars project for inspiration on the skin. Its not exact but I liked the smoothness of having it stretched tight over the mettle rather then the leathery feel the real zombie skin has.
And then a threw in some nuts and bolts for the fun of it. :3
